Philip Webber

Philip Webber graduated from the University of Cambridge with an Honours Degree in Natural Sciences (Genetics). He subsequently carried out research into the regulation of brain-specific genes at the University of Warwick where he obtained a PhD. He joined the firm in 1992. Philip handles patent work in the pharmaceutical, biological and biotechnological fields. Philip is also an active member of the Biotechnology Committee of the UK Chartered Institute of Patent Agents (CIPA). Furthermore, he has spoken at many European and UK conferences on the patenting of biological and biotechnological inventions, as well as publishing a number of papers in this area.
