Trainee Patent Attorney - Physics
or Engineering
London and Brighton Offices
We are currently accepting applications from Physics or Engineering
graduates to train as Patent Attorneys for possible vacancies
commencing in the Autumn this year.
Candidates should have a proven academic ability, with at
least a first or upper second class undergraduate degree (or
equivalent) in Physics or Engineering (General, Mechanical,
Electronic or Electrical).
Potential vacancies are within our London and Brighton offices.
Candidates should specify which office(s) they are applying
for in their covering letter.
Personal attributes and Training
Applicants should have good interpersonal skills, excellent
attention to detail and the ability to express themselves
in a clear and logical manner, both orally and in writing.
Full training and support will be provided to successful
candidates as they work towards qualification as a UK and
European Patent Attorney. We offer an excellent opportunity
to qualify with a firm that has a strong emphasis on quality
and training. This is demonstrated by our strong reputation
and by our unmatched success in the UK Patent qualifying examinations,
with the Gill Prize for best overall performance being awarded
to four of our trainees over the last six years.
Start Date
Recruitment for these positions is ongoing. However, it is
likely we will not shortlist candidates until the Autumn.

Our London office is centrally located and provides a very
modern and friendly environment in which to work.
Our Brighton office provides a modern, relaxed and friendly
working environment. Our office is centrally located and offers
all the benefits of a lively and cosmopolitan city whilst
remaining only an hour from London by train.
